Not that long ago I got the opportunity to try out the rally motorcycle of a good friend of mine, specifically a KTM 690 Rally Factory Replica. This friend of mine has also, for some time, tried to get me into roadbook rally racing and he mentioned that again when I tried out his bike. He happens to be about twenty years older than me and he once told me that he whished that he got started with bikes earlier.
So, getting those thoughts activated again and then doing that whole thinking about life started a process.
I decided that now is the time to get off the “highway of life between birth and death” and get on a detour that’s going to give me experiences and content that I’ve previously have just put on the backburner: “Ah, sounds like fun, but now is really not a good time. I’ll jump on it next year.”.
My first detour is going to be to go do that roadbook rally I’ve been thinking about, but never gotten around to do anything about.
I’m building myself a rally bike!
I’m going to learn roadbook navigation!
I’m signing up for the Hellas Rally 2019!
I’m also doing this for charity!
And I’m calling it – Road 2 Great!
